Past events: For two years now we have had the privilege of fulfilling Savannah's own request.  On Christmas eve 2005, she asked if she could take what we would have spent on her for Christmas, and buy presents for kids who would spend Christmas in the hospital.  We told her it was a little late to do that but we would do it next Christmas.  She was in Heaven by that next Christmas.
In 2007 and 2008 we fulfilled that unselfish request of hers by bringing several boxes of toys to Slidell Memorial Hospital.  In 2008, we also provided a mobile Wii gaming system that kids could use all year round to pass the time if they had an unfortunate hospital stay.

We would like to thank the Child Development Center at First Baptist Church of Slidell for donating the toys this year.

We would like to thank everyone who helped us this year with the food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We put together and delivered a little over 160 baskets.  We could not have done this without the willingness of so many of our friends who helped us get these to needy families. We heard wonderful stories of gratitude from the families who received these baskets.
