On December 10, 2006, our family and our lives were changed forever. At nine years old, God saw fit to call home our precious daughter Savannah.
Through this most awful time, the response to her death from our friends and family was tremendous. We were loved physically, emotionally, and financially. Because of such generous outpouring, all of the expenses that went along with her funeral and burial were completely met. The financial burden was lifted and greatfully so because the grief was burden enough.
It was then that we began to see, through tear-filled eyes, some of the good, God was intending through our loss. This is how Savannah Smiles came to be.
